Game Dev 101
1. Start with one loop
Write the action, visible reward and reason to try again in one sentence. Build that before menus or a large world.
Explore Cosmic Tilt →2. Make input visible
Show the controls where they are needed. Keep buttons keyboard reachable and test pointer placement inside the real embed.
Explore Sand Zen →3. Give clear feedback
Make progress, success and mistakes visible. Test whether a new player understands the next action without help.
See GAIA's playtest →4. Define state and reset
Decide what Restart resets and what Save retains. Verify the contract by closing/reopening the actual game route.
See Archons' desktop prototype →5. Measure before expanding
Use a small device budget. Reduce work when input feels late; test actual phones instead of treating a narrow screenshot as touch certification.
Explore Cellbloom →6. Keep release evidence
Record build version, first action, payoff, failure/retry and console problems. Preserve source and asset notices; credits are separate from distribution permission.
